Casio SK-1
The Casio SK-1 belongs to the most famous Casio classics and is much beloved for its lo-fi sampling functions. There's a lot of information about it in the internet. The SK-1 is also excellent for circuit bending, as it has a very open, digital, multichip architecture. Through modifications, samples & preset sounds can be completely alienated and the auto accompaniment patterns transformed into the strangest electro loops.
I've implemented the following modifications, so far:
- Mute switch for bass, chords and drums
- Aditional volume control for the drums
- 10 switch matrix for "special effects"
- Two freeze knobs
