Circuit Bending

Yamaha PSS-100

he PSS-100 could be called the keyboard version of Commodore's C64 soundchip, as it has similar "pokey" sounds on board. The 16, extremely assertive sounds can be altered in terms of timbre and attack & sustain values with minimal synthesizer functions (voice-variator). It also has 16 interesting auto accompaniment patterns and a 100-step 1-track sequencer with tape-deck-like controls.

A very interesting and novel device without line or headphone outputs, so I built a cinch output in.
