Drum Machines
Most of my (old) drum machines are analog with several individual drum circuits constructed with transistors or they're digital built with sound ROM and control CPU. So basically many modifications are possible. Manipulating the digital devices is often restricted to tampering with the ROM chips, resulting in a kind of ring-modulated noise effects.
I've modified the following instruments so far:
- Mattel Synsonics
- Dr. Boehm Digital Drums
- Boss DR-110
- Boss Dr. Pad
- Korg DDD-1
- Korg PSS-50
- Yamaha MR-10
- Yamaha RX-17
